Digital culture education moving
young adults against unemployment
About the project
The global covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a spike in unemployment rates, especially amongst youth under 25 and we have therefore developed the the European adult project AdultsOnTheMove! which aims to fight this development in an innovative and sustainable way.
We will do this by supporting unemployed young adults with interest in digital culture to find their way out of unemployment and to secure their entry into the labour market.
The Goal
The main goal of the project is to develop and test methodologies and tools that will provide young adults with accessible and sustainable learning opportunities regarding digital technology.
This will help them to enhance the digital skills and competences that are necessary in order to make them more attractive and competent in the modern labour market, thus tackling their unemployment status.
For Whom
The project was developed to support unemployed young adults aged 16-29 years old that have professional ties to the cultural and creative sectors and/or have professional interest in digital culture and technology.
The developed methodologies and tools are meant to be implemented and used by those young adults, but can also be implemented by teachers or an employers to support increased competences in digital culture in their classrooms or organisations.
